Pool Service and Repair

Repair

Vinyl and gunite pools are made from different materials and face different repair and maintenance needs over the years. Gunite is a mixture of cement, sand, and water that is sprayed on a surface reinforced with rebar and then covered by plaster to create a water barrier. Sometimes, due to natural changes in climate or landscape, gunite swimming pools can crack and start to leak. A vinyl lined pool has a custom sheet of vinyl between the water and a cement floor that has been laid to fit the dimensions of the liner being used. The liner typically locks its top edge into a track located on the bottom of the coping. Liners are prone to needing repairs due to puncture holes, slipping out of the liner track under the coping or simply deterioration from age and years of seasonal change. In either case, we are prepared to help keep your pool in top shape!

Many of the repairs mentioned above can be prevented, avoided or delayed for a long period of time if regular service and maintenance is applied to your pool's pumps, interior and/or decking. We offer many products and services to prolong the life of your pool such as weekly inspections and maintenance scheduling, winterizing, safety cover installation, gunite pool replastering, tiling, deck replacement, backfilling for vinyl pool steps, and more!

Renovation

As with any feature of home ownership, a freshening up or a complete change to your pool is sometimes in order. If you paint walls in your house, and switch out plants in your garden, you will eventually want to make modifications to your pool as well. Whether you desire to change the color of the waterline tiles, coping or pebbletec of your gunite pool, if you want to change the color and design of your vinyl liner, or if you have a change in mind for your pool's decking and steps, we are ready to help you fall back in love with your pool!
